Alexandra Maria Lara has been a German/Romanian television actress for over a decade. Alexandra is well-known for her parts in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra Maria Lara was the only son of Romanian film actor Valentin Platareanu. When she was 16, Alexandra played the leading character in various dramas on television. She was praised for her portrayal in Der Tunnel. This paved the way to other memorable performances, like Adolf Hitler's secretariat Traudl Junge. The Reader is another Oscar nominated film featuring this divas. Alexandra was associated with numerous important projects both locally and internationally. Among others, these projects include the British biographical films, the British Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time French Historical Miniseries Napoleon as well as many other. She was also part of the jury for the Transylvania International Film Festival, and at Cannes Film Festival.
