Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara was born in Romania. She is an actor from Romania and Germany. Her most famous films are Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Since she was the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra started her career in showbiz at a young age. She was a lead actress in television dramas as early as 16 years old. Her critically acclaimed performance in the made-for-television film Der Tunnel paved way for other notable roles including that of the secretary of Adolf Hitler Traudl Junge in the commercially and critically successful Oscar nominated war-time drama film Downfall. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex as well as The Reader are also Oscar-nominated films featuring the beautiful diva. Alexandra is well-known for her work in numerous notable projects, both in the United States and internationally. These include British biographical films Control and The Dust of Time as well as French history mini-series Napoleon. Her other roles include being juror at two festivals: The Transylvania International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.
